Are you a lensmaster on Squidoo?
I discovered Squidoo, and I'm hooked, like one of those sparkly plastic fish lures. I may be a bit slow, because it's apparently one of the 300 most popular sites in the US and has been for some time. Taken directly from their about page, "Squidoo is a hand-built collection of half a million pages built by people just like you. Squidoo is about finding people when you care what they know instead of who they know. And Squidoo raises big money for charity every single day by donating money from the ads and links you see on every page."
Apparently you can even earn money by making lenses, and donate up to 100% to different charities. For example, I've chosen to give a portion to the ASPCA, Donors Choose, and PA Breast Cancer Coalition. I'm not really sure if I'll actually earn anything to shake a stick at, but man, is that site captivating. It has lenses about EVERYTHING.
My first lens is titled aquariann . the fantasy art of kristin cornell. It has great potential to promote my work. So far I've added an RSS feed to this journal, a flickr module to show examples of my art, an etsy module to show what I have for sale, an Amazon module to share my inspirations, a lens module to feature my fellow FAE members ... ah, I can't wait to add even more content! I feel an addiction coming on.
